About The Position

Allied Universal Security is hiring a Security Officer to work at a Tech Site in Fremont, CA! The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detects and reports suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Requirements

• Active CA Guard Card license required.
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Must possess or be able to obtain prior to assignment, Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience.
• Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months).
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facilities.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work for multiple clients at multiple locations covering special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts.
