As an Unarmed Patrol and Access Control Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and provide customer service while using teamwork and integrity. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. A valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Must have 1+ years of Security experience or the equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate significant events to supervisors and/or site contacts, and support operational continuity by following post orders.
