As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail distribution environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the location. Your presence will support a secure atmosphere for visitors and staff, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the retail environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees as needed.
Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site management.
