As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, including chemical and petrochemical areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity within the location and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address inquiries and provide guidance on site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist with access control at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency situations as required by site policies.
