As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with visitors and team members, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and observe any unusual activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors regarding security-related matters and site access requirements.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with enforcing access control procedures and monitoring entry points to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized individuals from entering the location.
