As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will also support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas and perimeter fencing; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing visitors, contractors and delivery drivers according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, unauthorized activity, alarms and/or equipment issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports and shift handoff notes, using required communication tools and following chain of command.
