As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and visitors while supporting access control and badge processing. You will monitor alarms and security-related activity from the lobby, document incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Staff the front desk and control access by greeting and directing visitors, issuing visitor passes, verifying identification and/or authorization, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, and report irregular conditions, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation.
• Complete required logs and reports, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel as needed.
