You will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, report concerns promptly, and deliver a welcoming customer service presence for tenants, visitors, and staff, backed by a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, garages, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and documenting deliveries, contractors, and visitors per site procedures.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or property management.
