As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for associates and visitors, helping manage access, verify credentials, and support check-in procedures. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, communicate with site leadership, and provide customer service with a calm, professional presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report unusual activity according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as directed by procedures.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and visitor records, and communicate key information during shift turnover.
