We are hiring Security Officers for our Slidell Communications building! The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detects and reports suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clean driver's license with no active flags or suspensions.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to work any shift, any time.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in security or related field.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
