As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet customers and associates, respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft and other policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe customer traffic, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Support loss prevention and operations by assisting with queue management, closing and opening routines, and escorting staff as needed based on site procedures.
