As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access points, observe and report unusual activity, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to travelers and staff. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, curbside areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials as directed by post orders, and directing individuals to the appropriate checkpoint or office.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or evacuations as directed by site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
