As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, all within a caring culture that puts people first.

Requirements

• Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, alarm activations, and/or calls for service.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete routine administrative duties such as writing clear incident and shift reports, documenting patrol activity, and communicating updates to supervision and/or site contacts.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or dock areas for authorized entry, verify identification or credentials as required, and direct visitors and delivery drivers to the appropriate check-in and/or staging areas.
