This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with mobile patrols across the property, visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and prompt response to calls for service. You will communicate clearly with staff and shoppers, document activity, and bring an agile, reliable, and integrity-driven approach through teamwork and a people-first culture. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 05:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism and other suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, fire alarms and weather-related events, and/or assist with orderly evacuations when directed.
Monitor and report suspicious behavior, policy violations and property damage, and/or complete detailed incident reports and required documentation for Allied Universal and site management.
Support store operations by providing a visible presence, assisting customers and associates with directions and general questions, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
