As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community location, you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with friendly customer service. You will monitor access points, assist with badge and/or access control, and document observations using a computer or tablet. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points and community amenities, checking credentials and/or authorizations for entry, and assisting with visitor and vendor check-in procedures.
Document patrol activity, observed hazards, policy violations, and incident details in written reports and/or logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
