As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other incidents.
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal procedures.
Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behavior within the retail or mall environment.
