As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control points, respond to alarms and/or reports, and provide professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and security-related protocols within a commercial office property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading and delivery areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and following post orders and emergency response guidelines.
• Monitor building activity through visual observation and available systems, documenting unusual conditions, violations of site policies, and incidents in daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with property management, engineering staff, and local emergency services when needed, assisting with tenant support, crowd control, and incident documentation.
