As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet associates and visitors, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with your team while documenting observations and activities. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage facilities, including entrances, production or service areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, observing deliveries and vendor activity, and/or directing visitors according to site policy.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
