As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and professional communication will support a positive experience for all visitors and tenants. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you conduct routine patrols and respond to security-related situations throughout the property.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site protocols.
Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or violations of site rules through visible presence and attentive patrols.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with property management and/or other personnel as needed to address security-related concerns within the commercial real estate environment.
