As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide customer service through clear communication with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Control access by verifying identification, processing visitor entries, managing delivery and driver check-in, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations or shelter procedures when directed, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras when assigned, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
