You will complete vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns, reporting findings per post orders.
Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels as assigned, verifying authorization, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic and deliveries per site rules.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and public responders when needed and documenting actions taken.
Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, communicate relevant information during shift turnovers, and assist with audits and compliance checks as directed by site leadership.
