Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. You will document security-related activity and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Applicants must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with visitor management processes per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
  • Document security-related activities and incidents in written reports and logs, including patrol observations, access issues, and follow-up actions per post orders.
