As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed to address concerns or incidents.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
