As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations or drills.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or while on post.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required to support a secure environment.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance as needed.
