You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols throughout the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of Security Experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, medical events, and suspicious activity, and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other policy violations, and report conditions requiring attention.
• Complete timely written reports and logs, communicate with store leadership and/or local authorities as directed, and support investigations by documenting observations and preserving information.
