As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced retail location, you will drive between areas and conduct routine patrols, staying highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will observe and report concerns, support store teams, and provide strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disputes, and/or disruptive behavior, and contacting law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter including parking areas. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and policy violations, help to deter theft and/or property damage through visible presence, and document observations in detailed written reports.
• Support store operations by managing access to restricted areas, assisting with queue and crowd flow during peak periods, and communicating security-related concerns to site leadership.
