As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will interact with travelers and staff, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting a smooth operation. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset as you work through teamwork and always act with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
• Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout terminals, gates, concourses, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or credentials as required while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or local responders when needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate parties.
