Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and/or travelers by following site-specific policies and procedures, including responding to inquiries and offering directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports and/or logs as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Support emergency response activities by following instructions and assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
Collaborate with site staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or concerns at the location.
