Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff. Your role involves maintaining a welcoming presence, assisting with access control, and responding to security-related inquiries. You will help to deter incidents through exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while supporting a dynamic and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with on-site personnel and external responders as directed.
