Join Allied Universal at a government location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will stay highly visible, assist staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

A minimum of 6 or more months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential hazards or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe activity, verifying authorization as required and directing visitors according to site procedures.
Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
