As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by conducting security-related screening, verifying credentials, managing access points, and communicating clearly with team members and drivers. You will stay visible, complete routine patrols of assigned areas, and document observations while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or deliveries, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the proper areas.
  • Conduct security-related screening of persons, packages, and property as required by post orders, reporting prohibited items and/or policy violations through established procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; document observations in daily activity logs and report irregular conditions to site leadership and/or dispatch.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting medical response, contacting local responders when directed, and completing incident reports.
