As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton experience is preferred.
Baton Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the educational location, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
