As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents and remain visible as a reassuring presence. Your role includes engaging with the campus community, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and various campus areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents that may impact the location, following Allied Universal protocols.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries as part of daily interactions.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities as needed during emergencies or special events.
