As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, loading and service areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor authorization, and support badge and key control processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance, and completing timely notifications.
  • Complete routine reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
