As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the retail and/or mall location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client site instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail/mall property and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate parties.
Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and vendors as required by site policies.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and any unusual occurrences in a timely and accurate manner.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including providing directions and assistance to tenants, visitors, and emergency personnel.
Maintain a visible presence and provide a welcoming, professional demeanor to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a positive environment.
