As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with associates and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate internal teams and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving activity as assigned, verifying authorization for visitors, drivers, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
