As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control activity as needed, document observations, and deliver customer-focused communication to employees and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies at a technology-focused corporate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or visitor logs, reporting irregular activity according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying appropriate contacts, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Complete accurate security-related reports and daily activity logs, documenting patrol findings, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns and communicating updates to site contacts.
