As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic retail location. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service while supporting access control measures. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with X Ray screening is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all patrons.
Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as assigned, and verifying credentials as needed.
