Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling retail locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized access.
Document observations and incidents according to site protocols for reporting and communication purposes.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the retail environment.
