Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support access control and security-related checks. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farm perimeters, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as leaks, spills, and equipment concerns, and report findings per post orders.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing vehicle and pedestrian entry and/or exit, and directing individuals to designated check-in and staging areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, fire indications, and/or process upsets, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as directed.
• Complete timely documentation including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives during shift change.
