As an unarmed patrol officer in a high-end retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests, support store teams with clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, retail staff, and mall management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of retail areas, common spaces, service corridors, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, shoplifting-related calls for service, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations.
• Control access to back-of-house and restricted areas by checking credentials, monitoring deliveries, and/or guiding vendors and contractors to approved locations per site procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, communicate key information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and use radio and/or phone systems to coordinate response.
