As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to requests, report observations, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, vestibules, ATM areas, office spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entrances, confirming authorization, and/or directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate check-in process.
- Complete daily reports and incident documentation, communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support security-related investigations as requested.
