As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, check doors and key areas, monitor activity, and respond to calls for service. You will stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance, documenting details, and following post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, production or studio spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
  • Monitor access points during patrols, check doors and gates for signs of tampering, and report maintenance or security-related concerns through the designated reporting process.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or the site point of contact as required.
