As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an automotive manufacturing location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and interior/exterior areas for unusual conditions, assist with badge and/or visitor processes as directed, and report maintenance or hazard concerns to site contacts.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, and communicate with site management and/or emergency services when needed.
