As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide helpful customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A Guard Card and/or applicable license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, including checking identification, screening visitors, and/or directing deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Complete timely reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
