As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communication using client systems and/or written forms, following reporting guidelines and escalation procedures.
