As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, and deliver standout customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus or data-driven workplace.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and support access control processes, including checking credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries and/or service providers according to site requirements.
• Use security-related systems and tools such as CCTV, alarms, and radios, and complete routine reports and shift handoffs in accordance with post orders.
