As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-activity manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as directed, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in procedures according to site policy.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate security-related information during shift turnovers, and report maintenance or operational concerns observed during patrols.
