As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, and deliver customer-focused communication while documenting observations. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity and/or unauthorized persons according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including dock doors, trailer yards, parking areas and perimeter points. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and support visitor, driver and employee flow by observing credentials, directing traffic as needed and/or documenting entries and exits per post orders.
Complete routine documentation such as activity logs, incident reports and shift pass-downs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
