As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and onsite teams, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will deliver through teamwork while always acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, alarms, medical calls, and property damage, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Control access where assigned by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, directing deliveries, and documenting entries and/or exits per site policy.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, monitor cameras and building systems where assigned, and report maintenance or hazard concerns to appropriate site personnel.
